Trace your driveway on a map. We'll tell you how much gravel to order.
We'll open a close-up satellite view, and you tap the corners. No signup.
How it works
- Find your driveway. Enter your address. We open a close-up satellite view.
- Trace it. Tap each corner. Add a second area or cut out a garage apron if you need to.
- Tell us about the project. New driveway or a refresh? What's there now? Just cars, or trucks too?
- Get your number. Square feet, the depth we'd use and why, tons and cubic yards, and how much of a dump truck that is. Then price it at your ZIP, text it to yourself, or talk to a person.
The typical driveway is smaller than you think
The median driveway we've measured is 31 feet long and 12 feet wide, about 400 square feet. At 4 inches deep that takes about 6.5 tons of gravel, a third of a truck. See the full Driveway Size Report.
Questions people ask before they order
Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. Measuring is free and there's no account. You only share an email or phone number if you ask for a quote.
How accurate is a satellite measurement?
Usually within a few percent. Trees, shadows, and new construction can throw it off. If something looks wrong, drag the corners, or type in your measurements instead.
What if I already know my measurements?
Choose "Type in your measurements" and enter length and width. You can add more than one rectangle for an L-shaped driveway or a parking pad.
Who made this?
Hello Gravel, a bulk gravel delivery company. We built it because "I'll go measure and get back to you" is where most driveway projects stall.
